Services

Six workstreams that can be bought together as a full build, or individually where you already have something in place. Most clients start with two and add the rest once they trust the work.

What services does a GCC partner provide?

A full-service GCC partner provides six things: strategy and business case, legal entity and compliance setup, talent acquisition from leadership down, workspace and IT infrastructure, payroll and HR operations, and a managed transition to client ownership. Kompass delivers all six under a single engagement lead rather than coordinating separate vendors.

Strategy, feasibility and business case

Before anything is signed, you need a number your CFO believes and a plan your operating leaders will actually follow. We build both.

  • Capability assessment: which functions can move, which should not, and what breaks if they do
  • Talent supply analysis for your specific role profiles in each candidate city, not generic market data
  • Compensation benchmarking against comparable GCCs hiring the same profiles
  • Five-year cost model with ramp curve, attrition assumptions and sensitivity analysis
  • Operating model and org design, including reporting lines and decision rights
  • Risk register covering tax, data, concentration and reputational exposure

Entity, legal and compliance

India’s corporate and labour compliance regime is not unusually difficult, but it is unforgiving about deadlines. We run it as a calendar, not as a project.

  • Private limited company or LLP incorporation, MOA/AOA, director identification and digital signatures
  • FDI reporting, FEMA compliance and RBI filings for foreign shareholding
  • PAN, TAN, GST registration and Importer Exporter Code where relevant
  • Transfer pricing structure, intercompany service agreement and annual documentation
  • Shops and Establishment registration, Provident Fund, ESI and Professional Tax
  • Board, ROC and annual return filings, plus a monthly compliance dashboard
  • Data protection alignment with the DPDP Act and your parent-company obligations

Leadership and technology hiring

The difference between a centre that works and one that stalls is usually the first ten people. We run that search as an executive search, not as volume recruitment.

  • Site leader, engineering leadership and functional head search with mapped longlists
  • Employer positioning built from your product and mission, used consistently across every touchpoint
  • Structured interview design, panel training and scorecards so decisions are comparable
  • Volume hiring pods for engineering, data, QA, finance, operations and customer functions
  • Offer management, background verification and joining assurance through the notice period
  • Campus and early-career pipelines for roles where a build-from-graduate model is cheaper

Workspace, IT and information security

You should not be negotiating a nine-year lease before you know whether the team works. We stage the real-estate commitment to match your confidence.

  • Managed and serviced seats for the pilot phase, convertible to a dedicated floor
  • Site selection, lease negotiation, fit-out management and facilities operations
  • Network, VPN, identity and access management aligned with your global standards
  • Endpoint procurement, device management, asset tracking and secure disposal
  • Physical security, access control, CCTV and clean-desk enforcement where required
  • Security evidence pack for your internal audit, client audits and certification work

Payroll, HR and centre operations

Unglamorous and absolutely load-bearing. A payroll error in month two costs you credibility you will spend a year rebuilding.

  • Monthly payroll, tax deduction at source, statutory remittances and Form 16 issuance
  • Benefits design and administration: medical, life and accident insurance, leave policy
  • Onboarding, induction and the first-90-days experience mapped to your global culture
  • Performance management cycles, calibration support and compensation review
  • Employee relations, grievance handling, POSH compliance and exit management
  • Attrition analytics with named interventions, reported monthly

Transition and transfer

If you chose Build-Operate-Transfer, the handover is the product. We prepare for it from week one instead of improvising it in year three.

  • Transfer readiness assessment and a valuation-neutral structure agreed upfront
  • Share transfer or employee novation, executed with your counsel
  • Vendor contract assignment, lease transfer and systems migration
  • Documented runbooks for payroll, compliance, facilities and IT operations
  • Knowledge transfer to your incoming team, with a named transition manager
  • Post-transfer support through at least two quarters of independent operation
